Steve’s Industries Limited is the new name (2005) for Steve’s Mowing Industries Ltd.

Steve’s Mowing was started by Steve Hewlett at the age of 15 (1991). It started when he was cutting his fathers lawn, and the neighbours asked if he could do there’s as well, and it progressed from there.

Steve and his team, have expanded the business each year, furthering knowledge in other areas, such as lawn treatment, turf growing, log production, salt gritting and arboriculture.

As the business developed, and the various business activities have changed, it recently seemed more appropriate to call the business Steve’s Industries Limited.

Our lawn mowing business cuts over 200 lawns a week within the local community. We service a further 300 plus customers with tree surgery and hedge cutting work during the year.

During the winter months we carry out tree surgery work, grounds maintenance, salt gritting and sell lawn turf, logs, wood chippings and christmas trees.

A new product, which we have recently been developing is our lawn turf. We currently have 90 acres in production. Our turf has been seed grown by ourselves, so we know that all of the grass is high quality. This is available all year round. We recently took over West Midland Turf Ltd. www.westmidlandturf.com
