FEBRUARY 2010

Lawn Mowing: We are soon to be mowing again in just a few weeks time. We will be in touch with all regular customers within the next 2 weeks.

Now is a good time to get your lawn booked in with us for the forthcoming season!

Tree Planting: If you are thinking about planting any trees, now is a good time to start planning this for when the cold weather's cleared. We have access to a great stock of trees of many varieties.

Turfing: Probably the best time to lay turf is March and April.

Book your summer holiday at Tregenna Castle St. Ives. There's some great offers on. Follow the link on our LINKS page.

Steves Tips - October 2009

Winter Salt Gritting: Don't be caught out this winter. Ensure you have a winter gritting plan in place for your commercial property, pathways, car park and roadways. Why not choose us as your service provider?   We were one of the few companies who didn't run out of salt last winter!

Turfing: The winter is a great time for laying lawn turf. Whilst the weather is cold and wet, there is no need to be constantly watering your turf whilst it establishes itself. Visit www.westmidlandturf.com to order your turf.

Logs: Have you got plenty of logs in store ready for those cold winter nights? We sell and deliver logs for £63 per tonne, £ 35 per half tonne and £ 3.50 per bag.

Fertilising: Now is the time to apply a winter fertiliser to keep your lawn looking green and free from diseases during the winter.

Tree Pruning: The winter is a very good time for pruning and also removing all the dead wood from your trees. In fact it's a good time to have all your shrubs pruned as well, so you are all set for a healthy start to the Spring in 2010.

Tree pruning is best done after leaf fall and before bud burst, whilst the tree is using less energy. We care for trees, and we are an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor.
